What is infertility & why it is so annoying for men & women?

The never known term infertility is now having huge importance among the people who are suffering from it. It's not a disease that will choke your lungs or create a blockage in your heart, but it's even more dangerous that can spoil your life by creating a hindrance for you to reproduce by natural means. The inability to conceive or to become pregnant is what defines the term "Infertility".

The number of infertility cases in India is whopping by an unexpected margin. Abnormal Sperm: The shape & size of a sperm matters a lot in conception. An abnormal sperm won't be capable to fertilize an egg. A sperm cannot reach the egg if the semen is abnormal

Excess stress: Working on a tight schedule or excess of work can increase your stress level which results in making you infertile & unable to help your partner to conceive well.

Ejaculation disorders: The ejaculation of sperm in the bladder due to blockage of ejaculatory ducts can increase the chances of infertility among men.

Affected by severe diseases:  If you are affected by Cancer or other severe diseases, it can affect the normal sperm generation in your body.

Deficiency in testosterone level: Hypogonadism could reduce the level of testosterone level in your body that could affect in conception.


There are some other factors that may increase the chances of a male getting affected by infertility. They are:


Genetic factor: Sometimes a male can have two X chromosomes & a single Y chromosome, as in Klinefelter's syndrome. This affects the testicles to develop abnormally which in turn results in the generation of low sperm or no sperm.

Severe diseases: Sometimes males can't able to produce sperms in excess due to some diseases which affect their health. Some of the severe diseases that are commonly known for affecting the capability of men's in producing healthy sperms are diabetes, anemia & thyroid.

Mumps: Most of the people found affected by mumps at the age of puberty. This causes inflammation of the testicles which affect the sperm generation in a normal manner.

Radiation therapy: If you are undergoing any radiation therapy which is being done near the testicles, then it can damage your sperm to a higher level.


Improper consumption of medicines can augment the risk of infertility among the men's.


Age: One of the major issues among the men that restricts them from producing healthy sperms. Over the age of 40, the strength of generating sperms starts reducing in men's.

Overconsumption of illegal drugs: Cocaine & marijuana are the two harmful drugs that can damage the body & affect the sperm production.

Poor egg quality: Damaged eggs or abnormal generation of eggs that are unable to perform fertilization restricts women from carrying the pregnancy. With the growing age of women, the risk also increases at the same rate.
